OUR 3 CORE PROGRAMS

SPIRITUAL FORMATION

At CCS, we seek to nurture each student’s faith and character by cultivating the fruit of the Spirit-love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Our aim is to develop young lives marked by humility, compassion, integrity, responsibility, and a love for wisdom and justice; recognizing that being made in God’s image imparts inherent value to every individual.

We strive to deepen students’ understanding and appreciation of God’s creation, encouraging responsible stewardship and a sense of purpose through acknowledging and adhering to Christ’s dominion in the world.

By identifying and developing each student’s unique talents and creative gifts, we assist them in growing toward their full God-given potential, becoming leaders with godly character while equipping them to make a meaningful impact for Christ in every sphere of influence.

We do this by nurturing each student’s faith and character by encouraging them through instruction, modeling, and opportunity

·       to develop their personal relationship with God at an age-appropriate level

·       to grow in character to be more like Jesus in the fruit of the Spirit, humility, compassion, wisdom, and justice

·       to live out the Great Mandate (Gen. 1:28) by being wise stewards of God’s Creation, the Great Commandment (Matt 22:37-40) by loving God and others, and the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20) by sharing God’s love with others in word and deed

·       to grow and live out our core values of faith, honor, and calling as God has uniquely gifted each one

·       to think critically and act lovingly and biblically in the 21st Century culture, bringing glory to God and His light to the world.

RIGOROUS ACADEMICS

We at CCS believe that exceptional schools inspire students to eagerly pursue truth, joy, and beauty as they come to understand God, His creation, and their unique role in it.

We are convinced that this formation is best accomplished through a rigorous, developmentally appropriate, well-rounded liberal arts education- one that cultivates the mind, strengthens the body, shapes the heart, and nurtures the spirit. We endeavor to teach critical thinking skills and discerning culture through a biblical lens.

We believe that the highest aim of academic instruction is to guide students through a transformative learning journey: from dependent learners to independent thinkers capable of self-directed study, and ultimately to interdependent individuals who can learn, lead, and collaborate effectively within the global community of the 21st century.

A UNIQUE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

The CCS Leadership Program is a comprehensive K–12 discipleship initiative designed to cultivate faith, character, essential life skills, and the resilience needed to fulfill any mission, in any context. Leveraging the outdoors as a dynamic learning environment, students engage in small-team, scenario-based training that emphasizes biblical leadership and active community service.

While we are not risk-averse, the program prioritizes age-appropriate risk management by equipping students through thorough training and ensuring all activities are carefully supervised by qualified instructors. Our motto, "Lead to Serve," reflects our commitment to servant leadership, while our ethos emphasizes the importance of enduring hardship with joy. The goal is to produce godly leaders who are ready to answer God’s call whenever it comes, wherever it leads, and whatever the cost – whether that means serving in frontier missions or ministering to neighbors, all for the sake of the Gospel.
