Community Christian School (CCS) is seeking passionate, Christ-centered educators to join our team for the upcoming school year. We are committed to academic excellence grounded in Biblical truth. We are looking for teachers who are called to disciple students spiritually while challenging them academically in a structured, joyful learning environment. Faculty and Staff positions listed below:

FACULTY POSITIONS

  • Elementary Teacher  (Full-Time)

    We are seeking a Full-Time Elementary Teacher who is passionate about Christ-centered education and committed to academic excellence.

  • Middle School Science & Math Teacher (Full-Time)

    Responsible for teaching middle school science and math courses, developing engaging lesson plans, integrating Biblical worldview into instruction, and fostering strong student growth.

  • Middle School Social Studies Teacher (Full-Time)

    Responsible for teaching middle school social studies courses with an emphasis on historical understanding, civic responsibility, and Biblical integration.

  • Tutors – Educational Services (Part-Time and Full-Time Positions)

    The Educational Services Tutor supports students who need additional academic assistance through individualized and small-group instruction. This faculty member collaborates with teachers, administration, and parents to strengthen student achievement.

  • Substitute Teachers (Grades PreK - 12th Grade)

    Community Christian School has immediate openings for substitute teachers to be added to our current pool of available substitutes who serve in our Elementary and/or Secondary classrooms.  Substitute teachers are needed when faculty members are out of the classroom due to illness, etc. Requirements for this position include an AA/AS degree or a comparable amount of training & experience to serve in this capacity.  In addition, we are seeking solid, Christian role models with good judgment, a love for students, and the ability to provide instruction and effectively manage the classroom learning environment.  If you are interested in the position, please complete the Support Staff Application available on our website.  If you have any further questions, you can contact the school at (850) 893-6628.

  • Faculty Qualifications :

    • Committed Christian with a personal testimony of faith

    • Alignment with CCS mission and Statement of Faith

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field (Master’s preferred)

    • Teaching certification or ability to obtain certification

    • Strong classroom management and organizational skills

    • Clear philosophy of Christian education

    • Active involvement in a local church

    • Willingness to work with faculty and administration in the continuous assessment and improvement of student

      progress, curriculum and teaching practices

    • Excellent academic background in content areas, written and verbal communication and mathematics

    • Ability to use technological tools appropriate to their employment area

    • Hold or willing to work towards certification with ACSI

    Faculty Responsibilities:

    • Develop engaging, standards-based lesson plans

    • Integrate Biblical worldview into instruction

STAFF POSITIONS

  • Secondary Receptionist (Full-Time)

    The Secondary Receptionist position is full-time (37.5 hours per week) for 10 months during the school year. The Secondary Receptionist is entitled to all the benefits available to full-time employees, including Health Insurance and Tuition remission, to name a couple. Training for the position begins immediately.
