The Sound of Music: Youth Edition 

The inspirational story, based on the memoir of Maria Augusta Trapp, follows an ebullient postulate who serves as governess to the seven children of the imperious Captain von Trapp, bringing music and joy to the household. But as the forces of Nazism take hold of Austria, Maria and the entire von Trapp family must make a moral decision. 

FALL SHOW DATES: November 11th–14th at 7pm (Wednesday-Saturday)

FALL AUDITIONS: August 17th & 18th (Monday and Tuesday)

TIME: 6:30-9:00 PM

LOCATION: CCS Auditorium (4859 Kerry Forest Parkway)

AUDITION PREP: Please come prepared with one short monologue and a 16-to-32 bar song. These are closed auditions; however, each actor may have 1 support person if they so choose (please see below for audition monologues and audition form)

CALLBACKS: August 20th (Will be requested if needed). 

CREW: Turn in your crew packet to the secondary office asap. No auditions necessary, first-come, first-served as slots are limited (please see below for crew sign-up form)
