TRACK & FIELD

Community Christian School offers Track & Field for boys and girls grades 6th through 12th grade.  We currently participate in District competition and have had athletes qualify for both Regional and State.

CCS Track & Field is open to 6th - 12th graders.

No matter what track distance you are interested in running (100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m or 3200m) … you need to be in good condition with strength, speed & endurance because once the official track season starts, track meets start only few weeks afterwards. Please contact athletics@myccs.org for more info about conditioning and practices.

Head Coaches:  Jonathan Taylor and Orianna Madden

2027 Official Track practice begins Monday, January 25. Practices: TBA

2027 Preseason classics take place the week of Feb, 4-10. The regular season begins on Feb. 11 and ends on Apr. 9.

Athletic Participation

As a member, FHSAA requires that the same paperwork be completed for every CCS Middle School and High School Athlete. Each athlete must have a current Physical Form (EL2) and the Consent Form (EL3) on file through Final Forms.

NEW FOR 2026-27 season

If you are an incoming freshman (9th grader) or are a high school student who has NOT participated in interscholastic sports anywhere since 9th grade, you will need an EKG Screening completed to participate in any 2026/2027 CCS Sport; this is a new FHSAA requirement. The organization, Who We Play For is doing EKGs for Free (or a low cost). Visit this link, https://www.whoweplayfor.org/heart-screening-registration for more information and for times/locations of clinics. This EKG Screening requirement goes into effect on July 1, 2026; only one EKG screening/passing is required for participation in CCS Sports for the length of your Athlete's FHSAA participation eligibility. Download this form and take it to your appointment.

For PEP & homeschooling athletes, additional forms are required. See the Final Forms link for more information.

Final Forms is the program we are using for our athletic paperwork. The program allows parents to register students, upload forms into the system and roll over the information from year to year. This program ensures paperwork isn’t misplaced and parents can keep the originals. Please do not turn in FHSAA paperwork to the school or the coaches.

Please click on the Final Forms link to begin the process. Final Forms For assistance with the registration process, please click HERE.

All athletes must have the required FHSAA Paperwork submitted prior to a student-athlete being eligible to participate in conditioning, practices or games.

Cost per sport is $185 for full-time CCS students.   The fee for CEO, PEP & Homeschool students is $350 per sport.
