Wynne Casteel

I attended Community Christian School from 2003-2010 during my elementary and middle school years. I currently live in Houston, Texas, where I work as a geologist for a consulting firm called GSI Environmental. I met my wife, Lucy, while attending college at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, TX, and I later completed a master's degree in geology at Baylor University. This year, Lucy and I are expecting a baby girl (our first)!

I enjoyed my time at CCS immensely and am so thankful for the well-rounded Christian education that I received during my time there. I had many excellent teachers and participated in several extra-curricular activities that CCS offered, including soccer, band, FCA, gifted programs, and more. 

I will never forget some of the lessons I learned in elementary chapel and middle school retreats, which have stuck with me to this day! And 15 years later, I still keep up with several good CCS friends. CCS gave me both a rock-solid education (I am a geologist, but no pun intended!) and a firm foundation on which to stand as a follower of Christ.
