He Who Started a Good Work in You: A Message from Head of School, Tom Argersinger

Dear Parents and Friends of CCS,

We are finally here – the final week of school for the 2026-27 school year!

There have been so many wonderful things happening around campus and beyond in recent days, from water polo matches to LETOUR concerts to end of the year ceremonies and programs.

My heart is full of gratitude to the many parents who have supported the school throughout the year, and continue to exhibit a wonderful spirit of shalom in this community.

Those of us who are 12-month employees (most admin) are looking forward to a busy summer of planning and projects, all of which are designed to continue to move CCS toward being a truly extraordinary school.

At the top of my list is the drafting of a 5 year vision that incorporates much of the recent Campus Expansion conversations, as well as the many other improvements that were already on the list.

As I write, I am also aware that there are many in our community who are struggling in various ways, and that the long, hot summer, for them, may not bring relief.

I have been spending time meditating on Psalm 18 recently, and I want to close out my Parent News contributions for this school year with this encouraging word:

“I love you, Lord, my strength.

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer,

my God, my rock where I seek refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation,

my stronghold. I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, 

and I was saved from my enemies.”  Psalm 18:1-3 CSB

We cannot choose the time of deliverance, nor the method, and it often does not align with our perspectives.

But we can be sure of this: 

“...He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Phil. 1:6 CSB

The Good News of the Gospel of the Kingdom is real, and for you.

May this summer be one of growing faith, joy, and peace.
